Well, here we are at the start of the most exciting year in Scouting ever! I apologise in advance for the number of letters, general bits of paper and what have you accompanying this letter; it’s an indication of the humongous year we have ahead!

In the programme you’ll see a lot of ‘100’ based activities, some just at our HQ, a large number at district level, one or two at county level and this year a whole host of national events.

2007 is an exciting year for everyone as we will be celebrating 100 years of scouting. A World Jamboree is being held to celebrate the occasion. It will be a mammoth explosion of all things scouty. 3HH will be there – Andy W has successfully negotiated his way through the selection process, and some of our leaders are sharing their knowledge as part of the service team. Those not able to go to this Jamboree will not be left at home. We will be joining the district for our own party.
