Benjamin Haines a Reuters employee has kindly set up this website in his free time. Reuters is also helping with publicity.

ADM Capital Foundation

ADM Capital Foundation are providing funding of about $40,000 to buy the land on which the Sihanoukville, Cambodia sports centre will be built. This means that the buildings etc for which we are raising $40,000 through ‘the Long Road Home’ will be secure long term. Land ownership in Cambodia is commonly subject to corruption and abuse. ADM Foundation recently has set up a land-holding company there to build a new centre for street children through local NGO, M’lop Tapang. ADM plans to use the same land-holding company to secure the site for the new covered sports facility. The same architect M’lop Tapang is using for its centre will design the simple building. In addition, the ADM Capital Foundation has provided guidance on project selection and helped generate other corporate sponsorships for the Long Rode Home. ADM Capital Foundation was established by Asia Debt Management Hong Kong Limited, which manages investments of over $1 billion distributed among three Asian distressed debt funds, one of which was initially backed by the Asian Development Bank, which operates as a limited partner. ADM Capital Foundation was set up to invest in projects involving children at risk and environmental conservation.
